Haemanthus deformisHaemanthus deformis is a unique evergreen bulb native to the mountains and coasts of South Africa. They usually keep just a couple of their fuzzy flat leaves, but can hold up to three leaves. Unlike other Haemanthus species, deformis' bulb will grow under the soil rather than having it exposed. They are able to endure some colder conditions. CARE They prefer bright filtered to filtered light, does not need direct light. You can water this plant once

Though their leaf length may not reach 3'-4' in a home setting

We grow all of ours in a chunky mix and have had amazing results
