Engraved on the lid is an Ukiyo-e woodblock print of Utagawa Kuniyoshi's "Koga Saburo Suspendeding Basket Watching Dragon"

A vintage Meiji-period Orihi type kamisori crafted by Fugoya・ふごや

The wonderful Cherry Wood Handle was treated with a special Urushi technique where we added a layer of poppy seeds which then was coated with several layers of black Urushi

We also added a Rattan handle wrapping

The metal case lost some of the plating but works still fine

While minor pitting from old rust remains as a cosmetic flaw

and it is hard to not possible to read

have a much higher hardness and will keep their smooth

around 100 years or older old and shave ready coming with its original box
